(Longer bio WIP.)
A compassionate but shy drake that sits comfortably as the owner of Akabane Publishing House, translating old works and publishing them to the masses across the seas while also supporting up and coming new authors. Kanon initially lived a very modest life with a similar upbringing, until discovering her absent father was actually a famed warlord whom had mysteriously left her a fortune she was the sole heiress of, despite them having never met due to her mothers wishes and the fact he had other, closer family. To this day, Kanon struggles to understand why.
In order to distance herself from what was largely blood money and the ties that brought with it, Kanon funneled most of the money into her business and charity, only keeping enough for necessities. She currently lives in the estate she also inherited, being a secluded wallflower type who does most of her work through letters and is also working on her own novels after her last ones became bestsellers.

Kanon has a strong sense of empathy and kindness for others, however she struggles to express this properly at times due to social awkwardness and the drastic difference in class and status she has compared to most average people that can be intimidating. Therefore, Kanon mostly takes a more anonymous approach, making donations through mail and sending people in her place for any business meetings.
She isn’t agoraphobic, but finds keeping to herself as much as possible makes her more comfortable. She’s wracked with worry about a lot of things, and is slowly trying to work through that anxiety, but in the face of conflict she simply cannot find any words to say. She’s always been far better at writing her thoughts out than speaking, another reason she conducts her work how she does.

- Collar and cuff are optional. Youre welcome to put her in other accessories or full outfits as well.
- Making her anthro is okay and even encouraged.
- Alternate color palettes okay as long as she is recognizable.
- Please make sure her horns are pointed forward!
TRIVIA
- Her fathers name was Gorou and her mothers name is Honoka. Honoka is still alive and living in the same house in the same quaint village Kanon originally grew up in. Her surname is Akabane, which was passed onto Kanon to distance her from her father, whom Honoka feared.
- Keeps an aquarium. Adores plecos.
- She does enjoy blogs about writing and is considering making her own.
- Her hometown has a lot of craftsmen and jewelry makers, her arm cuff was made there.
- Favors the mystery and romance genre, combining them into noir-like novels.
