CW : Brief, nondescript mention of mass killings.
ABOUT - 1
The Empty Seat of the Round Table, Doru is a highly enigmatic entity. To many Alphamon is less of a Digimon and more so a force that only arrives when needed, otherwise absent. However, Doru is very much a person despite his guarded personality and ever present leading nature.
Doru was once a lone Digitama in the Old Digital World, hidden away in a forest. When he hatched, he wandered, until eventually he met a Piyomon named Phoenix. Phoenix brought him back to her people, and took care of him until he digivolved into his Child stage. Nobody knew what kind of Digimon he was, and thus he was only known by the name Phoenix gave him- Doruk.
Doruk, Phoenix, and a mutual friend of theirs named Otfried (Or Otto) lived in peace in the small kingdom they inhabited. Albeit, as Phoenix and Otfried grew up and evolved, Doruk remained the same. He felt like he was falling behind, but this feeling was quenched when suddenly he was contacted by Yggdrasil. Yggdrasil revealed to him that it had personally created his Digitama, and that Doruk was the prophesied leader of the ‘Royal Knights’ being founded by Imperialdramon.
At Yggdrasil’s orders, Doruk would say goodbye to his friends much to their disappointment- especially Phoenix, who had grown incredibly attached to him- and embarked on a pilgrimage to become stronger and fulfill his role. Doruk would take on the moniker of Dorumon- called Doru by others, and soon Dorumon would become the knight Alphamon.
ABOUT - 2
Alphamon would gather the other prophesized knights as swiftly as he could, and all seemed to be right in the world. That is until the knights received a new order- Project Ark. The goal of the project was to create a New Digital World and move a small percentage of the current Digital Worlds population over, and eliminate the rest. This was to ensure the Digital World would not implode on itself due to reaching maximum capacity.
The knights were torn on whether they should follow the order or not, including Doru. He had given everything to Yggdrasil for he felt indebted, for Yggdrasil had created him and given him this power to lead. He was quite literally Yggdrasils weapon, his arm of justice- And now, he had to go against his personal morals for it. Doru would follow through with the order, not without extreme guilt and feeling as though he was failing everyone he had sworn to protect.
Before Project Ark fully kicked off, Doru would make a visit back to his hometown for the first time in ages. Against Yggdrasils wish, Doru confessed to Phoenix and Otfried what was about to happen. While Otfried’s reaction was horrified but controlled, Phoenix completely blew up, spontaneously evolving and causing major damages to the area. Doru and Otfried would subdue her, and go their separate ways after that.
In the present day, Doru has dehumanized himself as much as he can to avoid the guilt. In his mind, he is nothing but Yggdrasils tool. And in his hopes of never going through another event like Ark, he’s gone behind the other Knights backs to make contingency plans. This is his burden to bear, not theirs.
When the Knights are defeated and sent to Earth to find their human tamers in order to return to the Digital World and reclaim it, Doru can’t help but feel like he’s failed once again despite all his precautions. And now, even more lives depend on him.

- Scarf is optional and can be restylized for other evolutions than Dorumon.
- Calm/serene or impassive expression most of the time.
- Wings are NOT big enough to fly. Do not draw them as such.
