CW : Brief, nondescript mentions of death and depression.

ABOUT - 1

Being the keeper of the Hyperboreal Archives, Chiron is known for his intelligence and diligence. Albeit, he is an odd outlier amongst the Royal Knights for his less than savory personality. He has a sarcastic streak and takes pleasure in verbally picking people a part, often inciting arguments within their ranks, and is overall a very bitter person with an equally bitter taste in drinks given his crippling dependency on coffee. Oddly, Chiron seems to be unusually close to the proclaimed leader of the Knights, serving as his shadow and a gatherer of intel, as well as making banter with the black-clad knight like old friends would.

Long ago, deep within the snow covered crevices and mountains of Hau-Kyr lies a fortified village in a state of unrest. For years, Gelum had been at conflict with opposing sides of a religious feud despite the guidance of its 5 Elders. One side believes in the revered mountain god FrosVelgrmon whom had watched over the village since its founding, and the other believing in a war god dubbed Hexeblaumon, rumored to have appeared in FrosVelgrmons absence.

As the groups fought and toiled over if FrosVelgrmon was still worthy of their worship or if Hexeblaumon would lead them to their doom, a digiegg would hatch under the watchful eyes of its parents- Strangely, two digimon emerging from it, identical.

The proclaimed eldest of the pair given she had crawled out first was dubbed Ukano, while her brother remained nameless as only those raised to be mikos were given titles. As for him, he was raised as a warrior intended to one day protect the village. However, their parents and others in the village were oppressive and controlling, inflicting strict training and punishments upon the two. In truth, neither of them desired to stay in Gelum.

He could never quite gauge his sisters thoughts, but the other Kudamon found comfort in listening to tales of travels to distant lands from older villagers, and soon found company in the child of a storyteller- A Luxmon named Sulla. While Sulla was content with her future, she supported her friends wishes to choose his own path.

It was only when Ukano suddenly vanished from the village in the night shortly after becoming a Reppamon, with evidence pointing to her having left voluntarily, that he realized he could take the initiative in his life. Albeit, he was extremely bitter that Ukano had left him in the dust despite knowing of the ambitions they shared, and to this day he harbors a distaste for her.

With Sulla’s encouragement, the Kudamon would also run away after digivolving himself, taking on the title of ‘Chiron’ as he became associated with a group called the Wreath of Thorns as a mercenary. They were a criminal organization that had spread across the Digital World in search of fortune.

ABOUT - 2

For a while, Chiron would take jobs such as being a bodyguard or assisting in heists, developing a close circle of contacts he worked with in order to get work done. He was far happier like this, growing stronger and digivolving once more- But when Sulla, now a Dominimon and full fledged priestess of FrosVelgrmon, would come seeking him out on her own after years, things changed.

She proposed the Tyilinmon with a job of her own. The conflict in Gelum had only worsened, one bad day from an all out war, and Sulla had her suspicions the Elders knew more than they claimed about both enigmatic gods and why they seemed to never directly interact with the village. So, the two would return to Gelum, and investigate.

They soon discovered that Frosvelgrmon and Hexeblaumon were, in fact, one in the same. They were simply different forms of the same Digimon, and this was something the Elders were aware of. Instead of making this known however, they manipulated both sides of the fighting from the shadows to further benefit themselves and live in uninterrupted luxury.

Upon confronting the 5 Elders with their evidence, things escalate, Sulla is mortally wounded after protecting Chiron from an attack. Using her Devotion Field move, Sulla uses her final moments to empower Chiron with the ability to digivolve further and become Sleipmon, a Digimon that unknowingly to them had long been prophesied to appear. In a rage, Chiron uses his new power to slaughter the Elders.

After this, he is finally acknowledged by FrosVelgrmon and receives a brief audience. In truth, FrosVelgrmon had long lost any care for Gelum, and fully intended to leave it to rot. Chiron would demand that FrosVelgrmon fight him and prove itself as a god, but it would only shake its head and vanish before he could fire an attack.

Devoured by guilt and an immense feeling of failure over what had occurred and even finding some disgust in his new form, Chiron would leave Gelum in a whirlwind to pick up the pieces alone and discover the truth through the Elders belongings. Given that the Elders came from specific lineages of rebirth and that Chiron had outright deleted them, their entire system had been turnt on its head alongside the revelation about their gods.

Chiron was lost, depressed, and unsure of where to go or if he could even return to his work with a clear head. It was then that he was approached by a mysterious figure in armor, defined by the ruby interface on his helmet. Doru (or, Doruk as he would later tell Chiron) would be the one to help Chiron get back on his feet and practically nurse him back to a functioning state.

Only after Chiron was well enough would Doru extend an invite to him to become one of the Royal Knights, stating that his evolution had been sensed the moment it occurred and that he had been waiting to bring him into the fold. Feeling indebted to the other mon and seeing a new path for him to follow opening, Chiron accepted.

During the battle against the Seven Demon Lords, Chiron takes grievous damage and everything fades to black. But when he awakens in a far weaker state, he does not find himself in the Yggdrasil Server, but rather in a world known as Illiad. Accompanying the Olympians, Chiron discovers dark truths about parts of his past and what happened to Sulla, before eventually making it back to his own world. This is where he meets his tamer, Sage Sterling, much to his displeasure.
